What I do believe though, is that the REAL tragic situation will be if we are hit again, and we aren't prepared, because some members of the Congress, and the liberal media, have given people a false sense of the problem, and that we therefore become dumb and lax once again.

Karen, you are looking in the wrong direction. I have little doubt we will get hit again. The Bush people put too much energy and money into the Iraq invasion and are getting their lumps because they failed to think the occupation through carefully. But most important, and this should be something we should all be able to agree on, they have failed to fund homeland security adequately. That's gonna haunt us down the road.
