A little bit of background here - there is a long tradition of smart-ass legal opinions in the field of admiralty law in the 5th Circuit. This is, I must admit, is the funniest I've read yet, but there have been others almost as funny. (I have an LL.M. in admiralty law from Tulane, in the heart of the 5th Circuit - so far, that and four bucks has sufficed to get me a vente latte, but I keep hoping.)
