They kicked me out for wearing glasses in 53, and that's when I went in, was issued a typewriter, and became a "Remington Raider" in Germany. Held the Fulda Gap with a "Grease Gun."

Back then, had they started calling it the Continental Army yet?

I carried a grease gun for 6 years then switched to a CAR-15. Learned what a piece of junk the grease gun really was.
