Fully realizing that any effort to carry on a two-sided debate here is mere subject to the wingers responding with the words..idiot or unAmerican..and thus by eliminating these two words you have a blank response, I would like to remind the wingers that in February this year, Codpiece's Council of Economic Advisers forecast that 510,000 new jobs would be generated this YEAR. The reason I mention this is that I would like to offer up my sympathy to the Personnel Directors of corporate America over the next three months. Considering that instead of the creation of 510,000 new jobs, through last month, 437,000 jobs had been LOST, with 93,000 of them in August alone. The Personnel Directors will be busy people for the rest of the year...overseeing the hiring of 947,000 people to fill All These Jobs created by Codpiece's tax cuts....as he promised!!
But with all the secrecy offered by this White House, it makes one wonder about the transcript of an "official briefing" by an ANONYMOUS "senior administration official" that was released last Wednesday.
An excerpt follows from this ANONYMOUS SENIOR ADMINISTRATION OFFICIAL:
Q. "Dr. Rice, speaking of progress, have you made any in the last two days on a U.N. resolution?
Senior Administration Official: "Well, the consultations that continue on the U.N. resolution continue."
Considering this transcript has since been altered on the White House website to restore the official's anonymity...I wonder why! ....consultations that CONTINUE....CONTINUE!!! |
