HyperFeed Stock Symbol to Change to "HYPRD" on September 5
CHICAGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 4, 2003-- HyperFeed Technologies, Inc. (Nasdaq:HYPCD - News), a provider of Managed Exchange Platform Services (MEPS) and H!BOX software and technologies, announces its compliance with the first requirements of the listing exception granted by the Nasdaq Listing Qualifications Panel.
Specifically, HyperFeed has demonstrated compliance with both the $2.5 million in stockholders' equity in the second quarter of 2003 and the $1.00 per share minimum bid price continued listing requirements. HyperFeed's securities will remain listed on the Nasdaq SmallCap Market through November 14, 2003 on or before which date HyperFeed must evidence at least $2.5 million in stockholders' equity to comply with the last requirement of the Nasdaq listing exception.
As a result of HyperFeed's compliance with the first requirements of the listing exception, its trading symbol will no longer bear a "C" qualifier as of September 5, 2003. The trading symbol will revert to "HYPRD." The "D" qualifier was added to denote the recent reverse split of the Company's stock and, on or about September 10, 2003, the symbol is scheduled to revert to its original "HYPR."
