i think earthlink is long term toast. (i always thought the paper printing was the only way this co grow so much in the first place)... i think wireless is going to put some ISP's out of biz. (john ashcroft prob offer you free wireless so he can read your email)..the guy i know who runs an ISP is totally consolidating everything....all he needs is a room....because the servers so small...just like that IBM commercial.(i think he would gladly sell out to somebody) 1300 layoffs. i think that's just the begining....i do'nt even know how many employees they have... if i was aol or earthlink software guy i would write a ton of viruses and trojans...and then offer some kind of bs assurance that 'you'r safe with earthlink' or something.... believe me...steve case saw the writing on the wall.
