Personally, not being a Californian, I think Davis should be allowed to stay in office to finish the job he's started: running the state into the absolute dirt and destroying it completely. I think the liberal establishment deserves no less and is entitled to see it through to the bitter end, no matter who wants to save it from their corruption, incompetence, and irresponsibility. The rest of the country, likewise, is entitled to see just what the liberals can really do when handed complete unfettered power and control, unchecked by fiscal restraint, basic common sense, or the most rudimentary grasp of economic reality.

But on the other hand, I have friends in California who have done nothing to deserve any of this. So despite my personal inclination to simply let Davis continue to lay waste the entire state just for the sake of example, my better nature, my sense of what is truly fair, my desire to see the greatest genuine good for the greatest number, disturbs my conscience, and I regrettably confess the best thing for California and the unfortunates who still live there (the innocent and the guilty alike) is to tie Davis to a bag full of rocks and dump him off the Golden Gate Bridge. Stop the mayhem in its tracks and let his great project of ruin and destruction remain forever incomplete...a partial monument only, to the ideals and aspirations of leftists all across the nation.
