I agree.Things change,and no one should be held to the flame for statements made at another time under different circumstances.

But in this case with Clark,I believe it will hurt him seriously in the primaries,as the Dems will be skeptical about his allegiance towards Dem causes and whether or not he will say one thing during the primaries and say/do another thing afterward.

Can a horse change its colour that quickly and still be trusted?

That will be on many peoples minds.

I still think he should have backed one of the top contenders and signaled his desire to VP.He may yet if the going gets ruff, and it would STILL be a smart choice.
