I got caught putting Foreign valves on a solar pool system I installed at El Toro Marine base in the 80s. Didn't realize I had a problem until I had done it. Fortunately, they let me get by with them.

OTOH, the screwed up armor plate that is on our new Styker equipment was manufactured in Germany.
