You see, the Bush doctrine doesn't really work "A billion dollars into iraq keeps the terrorists out of the streets of New York"... Putin has to be sensible about any kind of support because of real problems with extremists in his own country - and then Russia shares borders with many islamistic countries.

But seen aside from his own strategy he is admirable in having made his decision not to support this unilateral war by the US even before it started.

Blair - over the half of UK people want his demise, and it is now only a matter of time. You can bet on it by shorting the british pound which got a bit lofty recently.

As I earlier said - ownership of nuclear weapons is presently the only means to stave off a possible aggression by a foreign power.

Welcome to the cold war.
