Tom: You are right. The number of subscribers is a weighted average.
How they count subscribers who sign up for part of a month and/or
ask for partial refunds is left quite mysterious. Fact: revenues did
not increase as much as analysts expected. Hope: responsible
analysts will revise estimates, responsible houses will downgrade
(after they sell-off, of course).

This is bad bad news for AOL stock. The sorry thing is that many
will attribute the drop today to the general market.They may think that on a normal market day AOL would have held its ground or even gone up. Nonsense! Since when does AOL pay any attention to that?
