“The oil of Iraq belongs to the Iraqi people” Powell told the world right before the neocon party ordered US troops to start the “just” war in Iraq. The US officials have not dared to speak the O-word to the US public except keep claiming "Iraqi Oil belongs to Iraqi People”, or else how to make the war look “just”?

Guess who has jumped in to claim Iraqi oil before everyone else: Iraq oil companies because “Iraqi Oil Is For Iraqi People”? or US oil companies, Because the US had moved 150,000 troops to Iraq, spent dozens of billion of dollars, paid heavy political toll, sacrificed the relationship with traditional main allies and the US men and women’s lives, and another hundreds of billion dollars from US tax payers will be put into the expenses of the Iraq occupation, so US would certainly the first to claim the oil in return? or Cheney’s Halliburton friend? None of the above.

So who has claimed the Iraq oil even when the brutal war fought by US troops was barely finished in April and will get it? The reality check:

In early April Israeli wasted no time and wanted to reopen an oil pipeline to pump oil from Iraq to Israel,

While US itself has been deep in trouble and paying huge prices for Iraq occupation, US officials couldn’t wait to asks Israel to explore ways to pump Iraq oil to Israel(hey, again who's the boss?). Iraq oil for US? May be, but let's see if US is lucky enough to get the oil to cover its bills later.
