Al, So why did you insinuate that she only paid $700 in taxes through shady methods?

Shady? Never did I say that. What she did was perfectly legal. I only call into question the notion that a progressive income tax makes the rich pay their "fair share." Huffington is rich, isn't she?

This is BS...all three of these guys have said that the tax cut for the higher income bracket need to be repealed in this time of need and expanding deficit...none have said that any of this money should be paid to people in lower income brackets.

The deficit is a red herring. Every single Democratic candidate has proposed increased spending in social services, funded by increased taxes for the "rich" (and reduced spending for defense, depending on who's willing to admit it). Even Clark's "economic incentive plan" dedicates 4/5 of the increased tax revenue toward more government spending.

Not one politician talks about balancing the budget, because they all know in tough economic times, a balanced budget can only be achieved by reduced government spending, something no Democrat believes in.
