I dont support the ACLU but maybe if the right-wing would stop atacking them all the time, they'd suport more conservative causes. The ACLU is supposed to be non-partisan and would probably like to be. But the attacks from the right are non-stop. So when the right-wing needs help on issues, the ACLU is not likely to spend their money helping them.

The ACLU is supposed to defend the constitution. That's it. In general, that's a cause we should all support. Maybe it's just that the right-wing tramples on the constitution more, trying to force the church into our state, at least the Southern white Baptist church, the most intolerant form of Christianity in our country, which has inherited much of the old confederacy's ideals.
