Bull! I'm sure 'weather projections' are made to the best abilities of the weather prognosticator... and to the limits of existing data and the limits of our current scientific knowledge. On the other hand, if financial projections are NOT made in a similiarly honest manner - in accordance with the best available models and current state of knowledge... if they are, in fact, shaped and molded by political expediencies, then they are, to a degree, fictional... a false representation of reality. In other words: a lie.
