Hi John, I didn't think you had any real evidence to back up your claim. Looks like just another area you've found to throw the political football around a bit in.

Regarding WMD's, funny, did you see my post on Bill's thread of all the Democrat quotes in the past related to WMD'S. Looks to me like you can include nearly every politician of both parties in Washington. Especially, when one considers that Congress authorized the use of force against Saddam's regime.

Predictions about the future: Iraq will write a fine Constitution and will hold elections within a year. As Iraq builds a new nation filled with hope, filled with promise, filled with human dignity, filled with freedom, justice and eventual prosperity, there will still be some here claiming a new Vietnam is just around the corner.

The good news on Iraq just keeps trickling out. Soon we will see feature stories on 60 minutes. Give it another 4 months. The internet is bypassing the negative big industrial American media and providing first hand accounts of the good news happening daily. All one needs to do is listen to the signals of the people who are there.

Heck, I'm thinking of scheduling a trip there myself next year. :)
