Ok, but I misunderstood your use of the term 'repressed'. Like you, I doubt that repressed memory is much of a factor. In my example the young woman, let's say 18, was fully lucid during the activity. She hasn't forgotten anything from the incident which she initiated. However, with maturity of age and now at a professional age herself, she resents the episode. She feels both guilt about her own actions and abhorence that the therapist permitted and participated in the episode... would she qualify for the description of devastating harm previously described...
