A few thoughts on this telemarketer business. Last year I got a call from someone representing the State Police out of the district 1 Pontiac Headquarters. District 1 is in Chicago, district 3 is in Pontiac. It was a hoax so I mentioned it to a trooper out of Pontiac, nothing was done.

My mother-in-law called to say she had just bought 2 tickets to the Bahamas, one regular price @ $1,500 and the second one at 1/2 price and he was coming over to deliver the tickets and collect the money. I jumped in my truck and got there just as he did. He told me about valid contract blah blah and would call the police if I got in the way. Not only were the "tickets" way over priced, they weren't even tickets, and he's selling them to a woman that can't make it to the grocery store. Let's call the police got rid of him.

If a telemarketer calls you representing say the fire department or police, they get 85% of the ticket price.
