I had coffee today with a retired undercover guy who was with the sheriff's department but did duty at the state and federal levels on a loan out. He's signed up for a deal for people who have been in law enforcement to go to Iraq for a year. He was supposed to go in July but it's been set back and back. The program was supposed to be in conjunction with a UN program. Now his "get ready" emails are coming every 3 days instead of every 10 days. His son is home on a 15 day leave from Iraq and tells him things are pretty good over there and getting better every day. 90% of the Iraqi's want Americans to stay and don't like the idea of the UN moving in. The son has been in country since the start.
