That's his second story. His first was that it came from a White House source. And even in his denial he notes that her name appeared in an interview he was doing with a senior administration official and does not say whether in the CIA or not. Since his first version was that it was with someone in the White House, we are still free to assume that sao was there.

He, obviously, is trying to muddy the waters now, else he lose his contacts in the White House. Particularly Rove. See the story from 92.

And the Post article of the past weekend repeated the version of the story in which her name came from a senior White House official.
