A depression won't happen if we start balancing the books again and rein in the unilateral war-making. That means replacing Bush with a responsible moderate who's more fiscally conservative and who can get the UN to work with us. One more unilateral war like this one could bankrupt us as a nation. And it poisons the global economy.
