Bush is the worst economic president our our lives. Ask Jack Kemp. Calls him the most reckless president we have ever had. Ask George Soros, Warren Buffett, Bill Gates, etc. Bush is a dunce on economic matters. All he can think of is a tax cut before every election to try and buy votes, creating a more and more massive deficit our kids will have to pay off. Doesn't make a lick of sense. He promised us millions of jobs. He's lost 3.3 million and counting. Want a join, join the Army. Only ones hiring. Consumer confidence is down, the dollar is down, youth and minority unemployment are sky-high, record trade deficits. Wages and salaries are down. Medical benefits are down. Only low interest rates and a real estate bubble are keeping us halfway afloat, and that is Greenspan's doing. The interest rates can only be this low because outside of energy costs spiking we have deflation. The Bush economic ship is drifting out of control and they dont even seem to care. When Bush sees his polls dropping he does a photo op in front of a sign reading "Jobs, growth" but then does nothing. What a difference from Clinton's expert team who knew exactly what to do and made the tough choices for our future.
