U.S. brokers will buy and sell Canadian listings, but generally with high commissions and poor executions. If anybody knows how a U.S. investor can trade stocks on Canadian exchanges easily and with good executions, please let me know. (PennTrade isn't available in my state--so I need something other than that.)

Steve Saville recommended Pennaluna and another broker--Barry Murphy & Co as possibilities for U.S. citizens for trading stocks on Canadian exchanges--Murphy's website looks okay, but that's all I have found out about him. Anybody had any experience with him?

For what its worth, my best investments have been in Canadian listings that are good companies, and which then become listed on the AMEX. So a good Canadian gold stock with plans for AMEX listing gets my attention. Some may drop a little at first, but usually it works out well eventually.

This dealing across the U.S.-Canadian barrier is a big thing. Usually a big pain, but sometime providing it's own opportunities. Any suggestions on this will be appreciated.
