go to work at mac donalds. or bag groceries... ? on the other hand if market grows at 8 to 10% for next couple of years... i could accept it... at least not down... but if it goes down i go to work... no other choice... I still cannot get over how low the tax bracket is .. 10% first $14,000 an additional 5% to $56,800.. We never saw such low taxes in our life time. Subtract your standard deduction of $9500 and $3000 exemption, or if married $6000. you are paying very little for all the benefits we get in this country... please see if this is right... total income $50,000 less exemption married, standard deduction, and no dependents. net taxable $37,500 tax $2015 or net tax of 4% of total income. I used $50,000 which may be very high no idea but there are a lot of people in this country that do not pay a tax.... They are on depending on the higher income brackets to support all the services, and defense we get without any monitary contributions from them... Yet they cry for higher taxes for rich.. to me it doesn't foot.. some one needs to invest in this country to provide jobs etc. imo we are going in the right direction... ps numbers not my thing... so please check them out.
