Don't you agree? No. I think that is a very small minded attitude to take and a very dangerous one. The situation is this... (1) There are a large number of Muslims in Iraq. Most of them are friendly to the USA and UK and a small number of them are religious whackos out to make trouble for everybody. (2) There are a much smaller number of heavily armed USA/UK troops holding down the situation over there. It's most important that they continue to increase the number of Iraqi citizens who think favorably of them, and reduce the number of citizens who think unfavorably of them. (3) There are a number of (imho) criminally incompetent officials in the USA (and UK probably too) who are not letting problems get fixed. This is making the situation worse. Why? I dont know. Maybe its the effect of cell phones and computers on the present generation. They only know how to micromanage everything with a phone stuck to their ear, and fart about on a computer. In WW2 the USA used to build a ship every day or something by way of comparison. Now they cant ship a disused generator to Iraq in 6 months.
