It seems more a matter of taking their minds off the fact that they do (as do many other ethnic groups worldwide from time to time.) When someone like Mugabe commits ethnocide under the flimsy pretext of genetically modified foods, we hear about it briefly in the news, and then journalists go back to their favorite pastime of bashing Israel, as if that minuscule country is the center of the universe or something. Israel, as always, is a convenient scape goat to rally hatred and unify the Arabs so they don't kill each other.
