1:53PM Countrywide target raised to $110 at Piper Jaffray (CFC) 79.00 +1.48: -- Update -- Piper Jaffray reiterates their Strong Buy rating, raises 2003-05 ests, and raises their target to $110 from $105; firm believes that Q3 could have substantial upside from their new est as the co could potentially have a large gain from a write-up in servicing rights and firm believes its hedging was perfectly positioned for the recent rise (and fall) in interest rates; firm's higher 2004-05 ests are due largely to their expectation that servicing margins could be 17 basis points or higher, vs their prior est of 15 basis points... see 12:12 update for additional commentary.<<
