So now we understand the 18 percent drop in LSI price last week - as usual, the "bad news" is known by some prior to the general investor. << From Briefing.com: 8:01AM LSI Logic Q4 estimates reduced at BofA Sec (LSI) 9.86: Banc of America Sec reduces its Q4 est to $0.03 from $0.04 and notes that its estimate is significantly below the $0.06 consensus. After getting off to a robust start this qtr, firm believes that order trends at LSI have weakened recently. In particular, firm's checks suggest the co's communications (21% of revs) and storage components (37%) segments are witnessing some softness.
