Thanks for your comments. I have no doubt that you are right about the area above the Oro Grande being peppered with PGM's. I do not however believe that all of the deposits are in the form of microclusters. I Believe that the Oro Grande hosts more classic deposits also. Wire and nuggets are not microclusters.

I am off the subject that I wish to discuss, however. I understand the concept of microclusters, etc., I think. What I do not understand is this: Once you have brought the microcluster element into solution by whatever means (Aqua regia), for example, is it not then, and does it not behave clasically. Can I not then treat this entity as a normal ion.
