Didn't realise that paranoia could be over zealous?

I can imagine it too easily, though agreed that it's just my imagination.

Example: Some poor Muslim sucker who got roped into the Afghanistan Taliban thing got captured. He not really into this jihad thing against the west because...well he likes it there for a start. In most wars, when they are over, the POW's are let free. These guys are all labeled "devil incarnate" grade whether they really are or are not. So one of them wants to tell his family or uncle that he is OK but can they get him out? An interpreter helps a bit by bending a few rules, he/she is detected and next thing they are part of the evil empire as well. No half measures means no common sense.

Can I believe that? Yes OK, I'm gullable up to a point as well.
