Hi, I spent about a half hour talking to the guys at microprose today, and looking at demo's. In Answer to your questions - Magic expansion is coming out in october. 7th Legion is scheduled to ship on Sept 23rd just before the end of Q2. In reguards to Sid Meier - the previous post is correct - he has his own company and is doing stuff with EA. Microprose still has Civilization as we know it - Activision just aquired the rights to make a game based on Avalon Hills board game - Microprose is still coming out with an expansion for Civ 2 and next year - Civ 3. The games they were demoing looked incredible. I was most impressed with Mech Commander - which will be out in early Jan. The graphics on this were truly amazing - way ahead of anything else I have ever seen. I do not normally go for this kind of game - but will definately get Mech Commander when it comes out. Believe it or not the second most popular demo game (atleast while I was at the booth) was Worms 2 - so many people I couldn't even get close to the monitor. The Microprose guys were also very excited about "Guardians - Agents of Justice" - saying it was the only decent super hero game out there. I did not get a chance to view the demo of 7th legion. Overall I was very impressed - and glad I picked up an additional 4000 shares on monday. I really think there is a good chance we will all double our money in the next 6 months. John V.
