I'd say the whole thing is a diversion. Give the people what they want, scandal ala Baba Wawa. Notice Rummy and the crew out of the news? Here's how it turns out, the source will be whoever Cheney wants out of the loop or some flunky will take the fall. Bet they pin it on Franken via 2 degrees of separation.
