Al, At least under democratic control we had those, even if according to you we could not trace the source.

I can trace the source: the tides of conservatism brought about by Reagan and Bush Sr. Clinton took advantage of a short-term recession and won the presidency right before the recession ended.

You didn't name any Democrat policies that led to prosperity, except the policy of "good political timing." Hence, the reason why Democrats are doing whatever they can to talk down the coming economic recovery in 2004.

You finally got it right!! Focus on the negatives of HIS POLICIES

No, I had it right all along. You simply misunderstood me.

Here's a thought...why don't you help us find a few positives?

A pending economic recovery, honesty and integrity in the White House, two major victories in the war on terrorism, and perhaps some healthy reexamination of the U.N.'s role in the world.

I'll take those over a bloated government, governance by polls, divide-n-conquer politics, lack of a foreign policy, and higher taxes.
