When they decided to publicly state that there would be no war or stronger sanctions because they would veto anything that was put forward they guaranteed that Iraq would not give in and that we would be forced to enforce UN resolution on our own. WTF kind of diplomacy and negotiations are taking place when one party publicly states there is nothing that can be put forward that they will not veto? They are directly responsible for diplomacy having no chance at success IMO.

It's too bad someone doesn't invade and take over the cheese eating surrender monkey's.
