Gregor,

Everything we've gotten as far as information has come from the nurses.....today we heard from the doctor. He says my dad DID have a recent stroke he thinks, since my dad is slow to recover from this surgery. The dr. isn't sure how much better he's going to get. My dad talks a tiny bit now...bits and pieces of words...other times he's totally unresponsive. THis is going to be a LONG recovery process...if God allows him to get better.

By my previous posts you can tell that the nurses have put our family through a huge range of emotions. That has sure taken it's toll.

As far as a previous stroke....my dad thought his mind had slipped a bit a few years back when he had his arteries in his neck cleaned out. He may have had a small stroke then.

My dad practiced dentistry up until the day before this surgery, he has a very sharp mind...so as you can imagine...seeing him lose that is not pleasant. He was in the process of retiring.

Please keep us in your prayers...please.

Thanks,

Paul
