So, does that invalidate Limbaugh's statement? I don't follow football at all, so I have no idea whether Limbaugh's statement is correct. But I don't believe you declare the man to be a bigot in the absense of evidence to that effect.

You may remember a book, "The Bell Curve". A totally accurate, true, and statistically significant look at just these kinds of issues. And the media totally distorted the book, bashed its authors, and through that unwarranted criticism stifled progress on these issues. So it isn't surprising if Limbaugh questions whether the media may be attempting to skew public perception of this individual.
