"Not allowing him to practice a job where he has willing clients and is not harming anyone is an example of the government taking action against him" Nobody was arguing against that. Some were arguing about people who claimed to be harmed by his discriminatory treatment. I have not addressed that particular issue but it seems obvious to me that people have a motive if they make claims.
