you also reveal your lack of understanding of the "key factors."
I explicitly said, more than once, that they were the factors I considered key. The points I wanted to make. I never expected you to see the same key points. I never expected you to "get" the parallel. Because we were looking at this thing differently. Obviously, because if we weren't, there would not have been a reason for me to come up with the hypothetical, would there?
The main point I was trying to make was one we already discussed, that Auntie could both legitimately seen as self-absorbed, thus Mojo, as well. I was trying to get that across to you because you were so insistent that Mojo was "noble." I posted to you many times that this nobility thing was too, too much. The nobility thing was the only objection I had to your premise. Since, after we discussed that point, and you didn't give me an argument over it, I assume that you had come to an understanding of the alternate view of Mojo. Everyone, even you, seemed to be agreed that nobility wasn't Mojo's forte. As far as I'm concerned, that's the end of the quarrel. That was the main point of my hypothetical and that has been resolved.
The secondary point of my hypothetical, the one about how one deals with attacks on one's hypotheticals, is still hanging out there, unfortunately. |
