"... because the subject was potentially interesting but the discussion had deteriorated and wasn't useful and that was disappointing to me. "

That would be my expectations of you and something that I am sensitive too in most cases. I found you to be a culprit in the deterioration and that was confusing and disappointing to me. For example:

Some of the obvious assumptions about mojo that were raised were that he disliked women or homosexual men. Or that there was something about women or homosexuals that would make them unworthy of services. Since this was not the premise of the hypo, I explained that he had no annymosity and did not want to see anyone denied services...and in fact refered women to his cousin myrna who was close by and had an active referal service for anyone who didn't qualify. Service providers often make out placement referals based on their judgement of what is the best placement.

This was ignored because it didn't serve the rant CH was on about hating groups of people and denying them services.

You ignored it too and that was disappointing to me. I pushed you to give it some thought and you continued to avoid it. You proposed the Paternalistic thing as a comment on me and my personality and associated it with mojo. It was a personal and unfounded assumption and you refused acknowledge your contribution to pushing the discussion away from the "key factors." There were others.

"Likewise, you don't see where I'm coming from.

Maybe. But more importantly, it looks like you don't take credit for some of it.
