Arianna had just dropped out of the race. She has about 5% support otherwise.

Wrong. The poll was taken over the September 25-29 period. Arianna dropped out on the 30th. Go back and check the link. Arianna was still in the race. I think that Arianna's presence in the race may have actually helped Arnold. She proved to be the perfect foil.
