I gather you've given up on the substance of the issue, which is that the CIA concluded someone in the administration publicly disclosed the name of a covert operative. And that's a crime. Thus, the only substantive issue here is, repeat, who did it.

If the Bush folk take too long dealing with that it becomes a media firestorm; if they deal with it frontally, gracefully, and quickly, it not only goes away, they might gain some political points.

Pretty simple stuff.
