Doug - if I read you right, and I admit I'm not sure, you are stating that the political foes have hijacked SI somehow and threaten it. If you read my original post, which started all this, you will find that I agree with that and questioned the value of allowing this type of "dialogue" if you can call it that on a board which, presumably, wishes to establish itself in the financial world.

Other than that, you need to really put time into comprehending and understanding posters you decide to criticize.

You have to admit that your posts are tough to understand. If you wish to accomplish something, other than merely saying that you wish nobody to question policy, then you need to adapt your style to something that will evaluate and be critical with specifics. Making up statements and attributing them to others does not help your quest, whether that is being purely a sycophant, or whether you wish to improve these message boards.

You have been presented with a variety of posts. I came over here, posted a fairly detailed post, that was respectful, looking for a clarification. I was met by someone who largely calls names. This presented an example of that which I had posted. One can only ignore name calling for so long if there is no enforcement.

Despite all this, you chose to lump me in with someone who gives two lines that is basically an insult. Do you really think that creates a balance. If so, as I suggested before, perhaps you should apply for the vacancy of administrator when it becomes available. Although I have questioned your clarity, you at least have attempted to fog the issue to the extent that most will give up, having found a thickness instead of light.

Cheers,

RRUFFF
