Re <<After I heard the statement in its totality, I really had no problem with it >>

Although logically flawed, I did not have a problem with the statement itself. I thought it was stupid of him to talk about that issue in sports talk show. When I am watching sports I want to hear stupid discussions about how a player gets ready for a game or how big his biceps are. The crap that Madden talks about.

McNabb over the past 4 years has been responsible for over 75% of all of his team yardage, pass or run. More than any other player in the NFL!!! In that span he was selected to the pro-ball twice by his fellow team mates, people who had to play against him, and not the so called "biased" media. He has taken his team to back to back NFC championship game. I still remember him from his Syracuse days where we single handedly carried his team in some games.

To say that him being a good QB is a creation of the pro black biased media is outrageous. Limbaugh is either completely clueless about football, or trying to feed the “blacks are too stupid to play the thinking QB position” argument.

Re <<Instead of dealing with them in an open and up-front manner>>

I agree with you that the Bell Curve was a well written book and it certainly made a lasting impression on me. But I am not sure if it benefits our society. If blacks are less intelligent than whites (I am not saying this statement is true) then advertising it would make it very difficult to have a race blind society. And it would be very difficult for a black man to play on the even playing field with a white man. I believe that the playing level is fairly level in our current society, and I like that. Yeah, maybe my race on average is less intelligent that the Japanese race, but I don’t want my boss to make a promotion decision based on that. If my Japanese co-worker shows by his work that he is more intelligent than me, then more power to him. Otherwise, I want to stand on the same pedestal.
