Madrick's piece is "spot on" as the Brits say. Thoughtful. Will it matter. No, given the rigid ideological views of the folk responsible for reconstruction in the Bush administration. Means that reconstruction will grow a great deal worse before it can get better. Unless something untoward happens to them in Nov of 04.
