I guess that is the best I am going to get from you. I can only suggest to you that if you wish to insult and disparage someone then do it directly and honestly. Bringing up (or inventing) stereotypes is not the path to a kinder world. If you think Karen has been insincere then bloody well say so. Whether or not HR people are insincere as a race--I mean...as a group) is beside the point, isn't it? You are not going to suggest to us that you have read Jewel's mind and that you wish to inform us that he is experiencing trouble because he has a stereotype that HR people are "insincere, condescending, and manipulative", are you? I think that I was probably arguing more with Jewels than was Karen--right? You were not explaining anything about Jewels. You were defending him...yes. But you defended him through an attack which ought really to be beneath you.
