You don't declare war on what you believe to be true, you go to war on something you know to be true.

The Bushies declared they had proof and said they were certain....Powell's famous UN speech with photo's and maps was almost all untrue.... Bush's speeches constantly exaggerated the evidence and almost always insinuated a nexus to 9-11. Cheney constantly made emphatic statements on the existence of WMD and Al Quaida members in Iraq....all without reliable evidence. Ditto for Condi.. And most of all, they never convinced the world who were waiting for solid evidence....Why Blair supported Bush can only be cynically guessed at... It's true the Clinton admin. was convinced of some WMD, but there is a big difference....he didn't invade pre-emptively....
