I will tell you what IRRITATES ME about the illegal use of Vicodin which apparently is WIDESPREAD here in S. Fla. I have a partially torn rotor cuff. Sometimes, when I do something foolish the bone in my shoulder actually comes out of the socket and rests on a nerve. That is EXTREMELY PAINFUL and on those rare occassions that it does ONLY VICODIN gives me any relief. YET, because of the illegal use all Drs. are SCREENED here to see how much vicodin prescriptions they write and as a result I have GREAT DIFFICULTY getting ANY for my legitimate need. Not talking a lot here, usually 40 pills lasts me A YEAR which is just over 1 a month on average. But I am LUCKY when I can get 20 IN A YEAR. jdn
