The Libertarian Party has a good shot at becoming a viable third party in the country. But it would have to remake itself to a certain extent to appeal to the widest possible segment of society. Now more than ever I think people are very disillusioned with the two parties. They see the lies and the cons and know we're being screwed. But it's the only game in town or just don't participate. Most will not go to a fringe party that has off the main road ideas. I could work for the LP party if it gave up a few of the more controversial ideas. I suppose there needs to be a 5 year or 10 year plan to make the LP party a real contender.
