Equity funds report net cash outflows totaling $2.15 billion for the week ended 10/1/03 with Domestic and Non-domestic sectors reporting redemptions;
Fewer Equity funds report inflows (3,756) and more report outflows (4,032) than any week since 4/2/03;
Technology funds report the largest net cash outflows (-$228 million) since 2/26/03;
Taxable Bond funds report outflows (-$66 million) although all Corporate Bond fund sectors report inflows;
All Government Bond sectors report outflows totaling -$647 million;
International & Global Debt funds report net cash inflows ($173 million) while Emerging Markets Debt funds report inflows for the eighth consecutive week;
Money Market funds report outflows totaling -$48.6 billion, the largest weekly outflow on record;
Municipal Bond funds report outflows (-$183 million) although High Yield Municipal Bond funds report the third consecutive week of inflows totaling $33.7 million.
