Interesting argument. IMO greatly weakened <edit - read, "totally and utterly invalidated"> by the facts, that there used not to be any terrorist bases there to lose - except for the one in the Kurdish zone, effectively protected by us from Saddam ...

but then this administration works on facts as obstacles to be concealed. Because facts just get in the way of policy based on unthinking prejudice and blind dogma.
